Bhanuchander's son Jayant turns hero

When the sons of several heroes are making their debut in films as heroes, Bhanuchander, a senior actor of Telugu Cinema, is pushing his son Jayant into the Telugu Film Industry as hero. Bhimaneni Tirupataiah @ Rayudu and K Nagireddy are jointly producing a movie Chedugudu under the banner of Smile Movies, with popular comedian Kovai Sarala as presenter. PR Nagaraju is making his debut as director through the flick. Likewise, Swetha of Chennai is being introduced as heroine.

The film was formally launched with puja activities a few days ago and is going for regular shooting soon. Jayant has completed his degree in visual communications and has got training in acting, dances, gymnastics and karate, while the debutant heroine Swetha is pursuing her B Tech third year.

Nagaraju says, "I was associated with director Nidhi Prasad and got the opportunity to direct a movie now. I worked as an associate director for films like Holi, Andaru Dongale, Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw, Michael Madana Kamaraju and Mee Sreyobhilashi. Though the title is Chedugudu, the film has nothing to do with the game and the movie doesn't have a sports backdrop."

Producer say, "We are planning to complete the film in a 50-days schedule. We are planning to shoot the film in Palakole, Rajahmundry, Vizag, Araku, Hyderabad and their surrounding locales. We are making efforts to release the film as Dasara gift."

Naresh, Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Giri, Suman Setty, Kadal Sukumar, Ali, MS Narayana, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Sunil, Nagababu, Sayaji Shinde, Bharat, Nalla Venu, Kovai Sarala, Pragati, Devisri, Vadivukkarasi, Mayuri (Asha Saini), Bhavana, Hema and others are in the cast. Story is by Gopibabu, dialogues are by Veligonda Srinivas, camera is by Sarat while music is by Chakri.
