Bhumika to act, produce and even direct

Bhumika will be acting in director Srihari Nanu's new film. She had previously acted in his directorial debut, Satyabhama, opposite Sivaji. She will also produce the film under her newly-established Downtown Films banner.

Simultaneously, she has signed a movie opposite Dr. Rajasekhar in an untitled film directed by Ramprasad with Achanta Gopinath producing it under the Aachanta Gopinath Dhisira Movies banner.

After a hiatus, Srihari Nanu is back with the now-married Bhumika in the lead. There is a rumour that when this movie is completed, Bhumika will take up the megaphone for her directorial debut.

Mallepoovu, Bhumika's latest release, with a strongly-delineated heroine's role, has received some rave reviews and is doing quite well in theatres.
