Telugu
film
industry

artistes

eyeing
the
overseas
screening
rights
of
their
own
films.
Earlier,
actor
Raja,
hero
of
Mr.
Medhavi,
bagged
the
overseas
rights
by
paying
Rs.
70
lakhs
and
Sekhar
Kammula
bought
the
overseas
rights
for
Ashta
Chemma
from
Mohanakrishna
Indraganti.
Now,
sources
say
that
Bhumika
has
bagged
the
overseas
screening
rights
of
upcoming
Telugu
flick
Mallepoovu,
scheduled
to
hit
screens
on
18th
September.
It
is
learned
that
Bhumika
has
advanced
almost
50%
of
the
price
for
such
rights.
Bhumika
is
the
heroine
opposite
debut
hero
Muralikrishna
in
this
film
directed
by
V.
Samudra
and
produced
by
Mohan
Vadlapatla
under
the
banner
of
Sri
Samudra
Silver
Screens.
Shooting
of
Mallepoovu
has
been
completed
with
the
canning
of
an
item
number
on
150
dancers
and
Farzana,
for
which
she
was
reportedly
paid
a
hefty
sum.
Presently,
the
film
is
busy
with
re-recording
under
the
guidance
of
Maestro
Ilayaraja.
Music
of
the
film
was
launched
on
4th
August
at
a
grand
function
in
Taj
Deccan,
Hyderabad.
The
film
casts
Kovai
Sarala,
Abhinayasri,
Suman
Shetty,
R.K.
Sukumar,
Geeta
Singh,
Sakuntala
and
others
in
major
roles.
