ANR predicts Chiru will shine in politics

Vetaran Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao said that if megastar Chiranjeevi entered politics, he would succeed just like in his films. The actor added that the star had a very bold and clean image and would do well in politics. He was in full support of the star joining the power and hoped he will live up to the expectation of the common masses.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao also found fault with Mayawati's statement that film stars are not fit for politics. He recalled the success of MGR, NT Rama Rao and Jayalalitha and said that all of them were cine stars and have proved their metal in politics. ANR said that NTR had invited him to join politics along with him but he had politely refused saying that politics was not his cup of tea.
