Ramanaidu donates Rs 10 lakh

Noted producer Dr D Ramanaidu had donated Rs 10 lakh to take up rehabilitation works for the rains and flood affected people in the State. He handed over a cheque in favour of Chief Minister's Relief Fund to this effect to the Chief Minister, Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy from the funds of Ramanaidu Charitable Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramanaidu says, "Whenever natural calamities strike the state, I used to extend help to the possible extent and this is not new for me."

Meanwhile, Dr Rajasekhar, also announced Rs 5 lakh donation to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the flood and rain victims in the State. He said that he would soon hand over a cheque to this effect to the Chief Minister today (on August 13).
