Dr. Rajendra Prasad
Dr. Rajendra Prasad is playing the title role in an English movie titled Quick Gun Murugan directed by Sashank Ghosh. The film is being made simultaneously in English and Tamil. Anand Surapur is producing the film on the Fatfish Motion Pictures banner.

The film, which promises to a comedy roller coaster, is now ready for release. The film has been selected for screening at the prestigious London Film Festival on October 16th in the South Asian Film category. Anu Menon, a Malayali girl is the heroine. Twentieth Century Fox has bought the distribution rights for the film.

Rajendra Prasad plays a cowboy who fights for vegetarianism and takes on the powerful villain who advocates non-vegetarianism. The actor claims its one of the most novel roles that he has done in his 32 year acting career.

The movie has been conceptualised as a typical western that was in vogue in the 1970s, of course with a few tweaks here and there to adapt it to local tastes and modern perceptions.
