Politics begins in Directors Association

Though Telugu film industry appears united, it has its own politics in it. Like any other sector, this industry too is suffering from egos, fight for one-upmanship and other such things. Some such loopholes came to the fore during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Telugu film industry.

Meanwhile, the elections for the Andhra Pradesh Film Directors Association are slated to be held in the next couple of weeks. A prominent producer-cum-director, who had no hold or sway either in the Producers' Council or in the Directors' Association, is now striving hard to prove his hold in the directors' association by promoting a separate panel with the help of two prominent writers.

How far, the producer could influence the elections with the help of separate panel could be seen by next Sunday when the election process really begins. Keep watching this space for more updates.
