Gunde Jhallumandi satellite rights for Rs. 2 crores

Jagapathi Babu owes his break as a hero to Madan, whose directorial venture Pellaina Kothalo gave him a great image makeover. Now, director Madan is confident that his magic touch will give Uday Kiran too a big boost to his flagging career. Madan's next flick Gunde Jhallumandi, made under his home banner Aa Naluguru Films and starring newcomer Aditi Sharma, is in the post-production stage.

Gunde Jhallumandi, which is likely to release soon, has caused a sensation even before its release as the satellite rights of this small-budget film were sold for a whopping Rs. 2 crores. This is quite a record when we consider that neither the hero Uday Kiran nor the heroine Aditi Sharma have any significant box office muscle, whereby a movie would run simply because of the stars in the film.

Music has been composed by M.M. Keeravani.

Let's wish the team of Gunde Jhallumandi all the very best for the success of this movie.
