Jagapathi starts shooting Kucheludu

Jagapathi Babu, as we all know, is co-starring with Rajini in Kucheludu, and he recently started shooting for this role.

Kucheludu, being produced by Ashwini Dutt, is directed by P. Vasu. In a case of real-life imitating reel-life, Rajini plays the role of a matinee idol. Jagapathi Babu is his childhood friend with Meena acting as Jagapathi's wife.

Kucheludu is a remake of the Malayalam hit, Katha Parayumpol, which is a tale of long-lost friendship. The title is reminiscent of a popular mythological character Sudhamudu alias Kucheludu, a poor Brahmin, who was Lord Krishna's childhood friend.

Jagapathi's role is being essayed by Pasupathy in Tamil, where the movie is titled Kuselan.
