The film Romeo and Juliet is a remake of the Hindi film Bunty aur Babli. K Vijayabhaskar is remaking the film in Telugu as Romeo and Juliet with Tarun and Ileana. Amitabh Bachchan played a guest role in the Hindi film and Jagapathi Babu will play this role in Telugu. Jagapathi Babu played a role in Big B's get up in the film Gopi (Godameedha Pilli).
