Marmayogi to go to sets in August

Directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by V Ravichandran under the banner of Aaskar Films International, Dasavatharam with Padma Shri Kamal Hassan playing 10 different roles was released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages and was running successfully. After this film, Kamal Hassan is planning to direct and produce a film on his own in which he is again playing the hero.

The film, titled Marmayogi, has the story that dates back to 17th Century. Kamal Hassan has decided to launch the shooting of the film in Hyderabad during August. The film has Bollywood stalwarts like Hema Malini and Kajol in key roles.
