Kathanayakudu release delayed

While everyone is waiting for the release of the movie Kathanayakudu, the film is still in post production stage. Right now, the re-recording and editing work is in brisk progress. Kathanayakudu was supposed to be released on July 25th, but now we hear that the movie's release has been postponed yet again to August 1st due the delay in post production work. The movie is being produced in Tamil and Telugu, by K Balachander and Ashwini Dutt respectively.

In Tamil, Pasupathy plays the role of Rajini"s long lost friend and in Telugu, Jagapathi Babu does it. In both Tamil and Telugu, Meena, one time queen of the marquee, plays the role of the friend"s wife. Insiders say that Rajini appears only after the third reel, but will remain on screen for about an hour.

Now that should keep Rajini fans on tenterhooks until the release!
