King, starring Nagarjuna and Trisha, directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by D. Sivaprasada Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner is all set for a Christmas release globally with the highest number of prints for a Nagarjuna film. The film has completed Censor formalities and bagged a clean 'U' certificate.
The producer said, "We have a strong belief and sentiment that all Nagarjuna films released in December were big hits and hence King's release has been planned for December. We are confident that this film will please audiences in general and his fans in particular."
Srinu Vaitla said, "I like Nagarjuna very much and he is my favourite hero. I strongly feel that I have used this opportunity to direct him well. The film will definitely reach the expectations of audiences." King is Srinu Vaitla's 10th film.
Umesh Gupta of Aditya Music said, "Devi Sri Prasad composed the music which has already become a hit."
Nagarjuna will be seen in three getups in the movie: as King, Bottu Seenu and Sarath. Srihari appears in a cameo as a don called 'Gnaneswar'. Brahmanandam will be a music director in King sources say his role is one of the major highlights of the film as is Nagarjuna's song with 10 heroines. Insiders say that Brahmanandam's appearance on the screen runs to a total of 30 minutes.
