Mahesh Babu and son in an Ad

Hyderabad awoke to the shocking news - After completing his last film Athidi which was released in October 2007, Mahesh Babu did not start shooting for any film all through 2008. It is only now that work on his next film (to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas) has commenced, though regular shooting schedules have been postponed. It was supposed to start in November but due to unforeseen circumstances, shooting will begin only next year.

The buzz is that Mahesh Babu has done an advertisement for a soft drink company. While this in itself is not big news, the fact that he appears in the ad with his son Gautam is very exciting. Gautam was born on 31.08.2006 to Mahesh Babu and former Miss India turned actor, Namrata Shirodokar.
