Meera Jasmine stars in Okati Nalugu

A love and action entertainer is coming up under the direction of Prabhakar with Meera Jasmine in the lead. Raj Combines is producing the movie. The recording activities have begun for the film recently. Agastyan, a protege of Illayaraja, of Pellaina Kothalo-fame is scoring music. A song on Onam scripted by Ramajogaiah Sastry, was the first song recorded.

Speaking on the occasion, Agastyan said, "After working for Pellaina Kothalo, I got several opportunity to do Telugu Films. But I have decided to work for the films, which would touch the hearts of audiences. Of course, I am presently busy scoring jingles in Hindi."

"When Prabhakar narrated me the story, I realized that there is a good scope for music in the movie and accepted the offer. There are five songs and a theme song in the movie. The shooting of the film would begin on April 30 and I am confident that the film would earn me a good name as a music director.
