Suresh Krishna to direct Dasari

Meistry, the proposed film which will star Dasari Narayana Rao, will be directed by Suresh Krishna, who has directed other biggies like Rajinikanth in Basha. Dasari will also produce the film under Siri Media banner. This film has a budget of Rs. 12 crores.

Meistry has been conceptualized as a political satire and will definitely bring in a lot of mileage for the politician turned producer-actor. At first, it was said that one of Dasari's disciples would direct the flick, but now it is felt that only a senior director like Suresh Krishna can handle certain scenes that require subtlety.

A host of 'filmi' and political biggies are expected to star in Dasari's Meistry. The title was inspired by Dasari's nickname in film circles.

Meistry is planned for release in January 2009.
