Manjira completes shooting

Movie Manjira's shooting is almost wrapped up and the film has gone to the dubbing studios. The movie, directed by Sai Bhanu and produced by Mothukuri Sambasiva Rao under MMK Arts banner, stars debutant Gautham and Sridevi.

Sridevi said, "I play the role of a Muslim girl. It has different elements like love and action and I have got a very good opportunity to give a good performance in this movie."

Gautham said, "I am very happy that I got a chance to work with senior artistes in my debut film." Action choreographers Ram-Lakshman commented, "There are some good fight sequences in the film."

Seleem Panda explained, "After Gharshana, I got a good opportunity to show my acting capabilities in this movie." Executive producer Gopikrishna said, "We shot the film for about 100 days spanning three schedules. We shot the film in Kulu Manali, Vizag, Araku and Bhimili. It is a big budget film and director Sai Bhanu has given a great treatment for the film. Sridevi will earn compliments both for her glamour and performance. Raghuvaran, who passed away recently, has an important role in our film, one of the last roles he ever did. We are sure that his role will be a highlight of the film."

Ramaraju, Ashok Kumar, Brahmanandam, Jeeva, Bhanuchander, Surya, Ceylon Manohar, Chitram Basha, Ping Pang, Y. Vijaya, Ravali and Naveena are in the supporting star cast. Story is by Janardhan, editing is by Upendra, camera is by Sattibabu and music is by Sekhar Chandra.
