Nagarjuna has no releases in 2009

The buzz is that Nagarjuna may take a sabbatical after completing his ongoing project King, starring Trisha. Directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Sivaprasad Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner, the movie is fast nearing completion and is due to be released in December 2008.

According to sources close to Nagarjuna, he is taking an unspecified amount of time off to concentrate on launching his son, Naga Chaitanya's long overdue career with a film produced by Dil Raju. Also he will be working on modernizing his Annapoorna Studios to cater to contemporary filmmaking trends.

The industry is speculating that Nagarjuna will start work on his next film (after King) only in the fag-end of 2009, so this means that Nagarjuna will not have a release in 2009.
