Nandi awards postponed

The presentation of Nandi Awards was postponed once again due to some unavoidable circumstances. According to a communique issued by the government, the Nandi Awards for the years 2005 and 2006 were expected to have been presented on November 8. However, the Film Development Corporation managing director C. Parthasarathi had said, "We are unable to hold the function due to various reasons. However, the program is fixed for November 16 and a function would be held at Lal Bahadur Stadium on that day. The NTR memorial national award and Raghupati Venkaiah awards would also be presented to the recipients."
