Pawan Kalyan's 'Puli' put off again

The forthcoming film of Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Puli directed by SJ Suryah and produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Sri Kanaka Ratna Movies with Hansika Motwani and Parvati Melton in the female lead was supposed to go for regular shooting from June 20.

The producer had planned the launch of the schedule with the shooting of a huge action scene involving over 500 junior artistes. However, the unexpected accident that occurred to its director, who had the passion to play hero.

Presently, Suryah is playing hero in a Tamil film Nyutanin Moondram Veedhi in which a chasing scene was being hot at Velacheri near Chennai. As per the scene, Suryah moves on a bike and villain Rajiv Krishna has to chase him. Unexpectedly, Suryah's bike gave trouble and slowed down, while the car being driven by the villain hit him. Suryah lost control over the vehicle and suffered injuries.

He was immediately shifted to a private hospital. Though they are not serious injuries, doctors advised him 15 days rest. This has upset the schedule of not only the Tamil film but also the regular shooting of Puli slated to begin on June 20. According to available information, Puli shooting was postponed to the first week of July.
