Jayanth Paranji to direct Prabhas

Krishnam Raju is producing a film starring Prabhas to be directed by Jayanth Paranji. Right now, Prabhas' star has risen in the Telugu Cinema firmament after the success of Bujjigadu. The working title of the new project is Raju and it will be produced under their home banner Gopi Krishna Movies. Prabhas is Krishnam's nephew.

Gopi Krishna Movies has some notable credits like Krishnaveni and Baktha Kannappa under its belt.

Allari Pidugu was Jayanth's last film in Telugu. After he launched Love 4 Ever in November 2007, he disappeared for a while and nothing is known about the fate of the film.
