Sontha Ooru to bring back memories

Sontha Ooru is the title confirmed for a film where Raja is playing the hero. Directed by P Sunilkumar Reddy and produced by Y Ravindrababu and Kishori Basireddy under the banner of Sravya Films, the film has a debutant heroine Teertha. The director and producers announced the title at a function held at Prasad Labs Preview Theatre in Hyderabad.

Popular directors EVV Satyanarayana, Devi Prasad, V Samudra, Premkumar Patra of Vinayakudu-fame, writer Gandham Nagaraju, music director Saketh Sairam and others attended the programme.

Raja said, "I was born in Visakhapatnam. I have lots of memories of that city. Sontha Ooru is an excellent title. I realised that it is a very good opportunity right from the moment the director Sunilkumar Reddy narrated the story. I am sure that the film would be a milestone in my career."

Producer Ravindrababu commented, "This is my fifth film with the director."

Director remarked, "Any person can reach any great height but cannot forget his native place. We would like to remind the same through our movie. It is worth mentioning here that LB Sriram has penned a story after a long gap, besides playing a key role in this movie. We are sure that he would bag an award for his character. The shooting of the film has been completed and we are planning to release the audio as well as the film during December itself."

Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Jeeva, MS Narayana, Vijayachander, Rallapalli, Swati, Alapati Lakshmi and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sabu James, music is by Saketh Sairam, story and dialogues are by LB Sriram, art is by Mouli, while script assistance is by Gandham Nagaraju.
