Nagababu acts in Sarkar

'Sarkar' is the new film with Nagababu in the title role. Directed by Phani Raj and produced by K Venkateswara Rao under the banner of Santi Priya Productions, 'Sarkar' began its shooting at the Ramanaidu Studios on February 1. State minister Rosaiah gave the clap, while Sreenu Vaitla switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturized on the lead pair of Vijayanand and Suhasini under the honorary direction of VV Vinayak.

The regular shooting of the film will begin from the second week of February. Director Phani Raj says, "Our film has nothing to do with 'Sarkaar' of Ram Gopal Varma'" Producer K Venkateswara Rao says, "I am taking up film production after a long time. The film is inspired by an English film and it is basically a suspense thriller."

Ramireddy, Bharat, Prasannakumar, Annapurna, Kadambari Kiran, Ragini, Raghunatha Reddy, Surya, Srinivasa Reddy and others are among the cast.
