Gayatri starts shooting

Shooting of movie Gayatri (Andaru Ammayilu Okelaa Vundaru), directed and produced by D Sayendra Reddy under the banner of Lakshmi Bhavani Movies Pvt Ltd, with Gayatri Rao (Appu) of Happy Days-fame in the title role was launched recently. Siva is making his debut as hero of the film.

Director Puri Jagannath gave the clap, while Dr D Ramanaidu switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of K Raghavendra Rao. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who attended the programme as guest, blessed the director, hero and heroine. Earlier, Dr D Ramanaidu, unveiled the logo of the banner.

Later, talking to the media, director cum producer said, "Earlier, I produced two Kannada films and this is my debut as director. The story revolves around a day's life of a girl. The entire film is based on the screenplay and runs with suspense as the main element. The movie would be made in Ramoji Film City. We are making efforts to release the film in November."

Actress Gayatri said, "This is my third film. My character in this film would be very nice."

Other star-casts involved in the project are MS Narayana, Ravivarma, Srikrishna. Music is been composed by Chakri, cinematography is been looked after by Surendra Reddy, action by Ram Lakshman, editing by Anirudra, art by Narayana Reddy, while story and direction by D Sayendra Reddy.
