Kavi shooting begins

Shooting of the movie Kavi was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad recently. The movie is directed by Seven Star Sriram and produced by Ch Harishankar under the banner of Saivarsha Cine Academy. Sikindar and Keerthi are in the lead. EVV Satyanarayana gave the clap while K Achireddy switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of SV Krishna Reddy.

Director says, "What kind of problems a Kavi (writer) faced due to an incident that happened because of his 'Kavitvam' (writings) is the basic story of the movie." Producer says, "We planned our first schedule in Hyderabad till July 15. Next we will shift to Rajahmundry and then to Vizag to complete the film."

Kavita is playing the mother of the hero, while LB Sriram, MS Narayana, Telangana Sakuntala, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Raghunatha Reddy, Kallu Chidambaram, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Jenny, Satish and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Nanditi Ashok, music is by MVK Mallik, camera is by E Prasad, while R Surya Prakash is the executive producer.
