Ayesha to unravel Vijayawada murder mystery

Sonia of Happy Days fame has been signed up to play the title role in a new film Ayesha. The film is based on a real life incident that took place in Vijayawada recently. A young college student Ayesha was brutally raped and murdered in her hostel.

The police are yet to bring the culprits to justice. The role of a prominent politician's grandson is suspected. Jonnalagadda Murahari and Gurrapau Vijayakumar will make the film jointly under the Sri Gayathri Films banner. Kata Krishna Prasad is the director.
