Srinivas Avasarala
Srinivas Avasarala, whose portrayal of Anand (Mahi) in Ashta Chemma took audiences by storm, is now a star. His acting talent in Ashta Chemma has come in for wide applause and he has been recognized as a talented comedian. Srinivas is a mechanical engineer from Princeton University, U.S.A., with a screenwriting diploma. He is also qualified in other aspects of film-making.

Srinivas came to know that Mohana Indragranti, director of Ashta Chemma, was looking for new faces and applied for the role; the rest is history. Srinivas is now preparing a script for a new film that he wants to direct as his primary ambition is to excel as a writer, director and actor. He will start shooting once he is able to find a producer.

Srinivas says that he admires K. Vishwanath the most. A person who is grounded in reality, Srinivas is noncommittal about his future projects, only saying that he will announce any developments as soon as he signs any new project.

He continues to reside in the U.S.A. and intends to juggle a 'normal" career along with his passion (film-making) as long as he can manage both.
