All
will
agree
that
Tamil
actor
Nasser
has
a
special
screen
image
among
audiences,
often
cited
as
one
of
the
specialist
character
actors
in
India
like
Om
Puri,
Mammootty,
Mohanlal,
Nana
Patekar
and
Kamal
Hassan.
We
could
also
say
he
is
a
'one-man
industry',
handling
almost
all
genres
in
cinema.
He
is
a
well-known
artist,
a
great
director,
producer,
distributor,
writer,
lyricist
and
even
a
good
singer.
While
most
of
his
counterparts
in
the
industry
are
content
doing
specific-genre
roles
in
movies,
Nasser
selects
roles
based
solely
on
his
date
availability
without
restricting
himself
to
any
one
type
of
role.
Why?
"Because
I'm
not
handicapped;
I
believe
I'm
a
complete
actor," he
stresses.
"Passion
for
the
medium
comes
later;
shooting
for
a
film
is
a
big
responsibility
first.
One
has
to
finish
one's
work
within
the
deadline
and
make
life
easy
for
the
director
and
the
producer
-
that's
the
primary
responsibility
of
an
actor,"
he
adds.
So,
he
has
no
dream
roles.
"I
don"t
dream;
I
only
plan."
Work
finds
top
priority
for
the
versatile
actor
once
he's
on
the
sets.
The
awards
he
has
won
in
many
categories,
like
the
best
actor
award,
the
best
villain
and
more
recently,
the
best
supporting
role,
are
testomony
to
his
hard
word
and
tremendous
acting
skills.
Nasser
will
soon
be
seen
onscreen
in
En
Kadhalin
Devathai,
Panchamritam,
Magane
En
Magane,
Aegan
and
Poi
Solla
Porom
among
others.
He
is
also
working
on
a
script
for
which
shooting
should
begin
next
year.
