Naresh teams up with Tanya

South Indian filmdom is now looking to its sister - the modelling industry - for infusion of fresh blood. For one thing, models know how to carry and present themselves before the camera, they have the basic facial expressions down pat, they catch on fast to the strict working methods of the South Indian dream factory and they are punctual and professional.

The latest entrant to the Telugu film industry is Mumbai-vasi Tanya, who debuts opposite Allari Naresh in Dongala Bandi. She was first noticed in a commercial alongside Madhavan.

Her debut is something every newcomer dreams of. "I am sharing screen space with 25 comedians. What more can a new heroine ask for!" On her decision to enter Tollywood, she says, "Telugu films are colourful and Tollywood is the ultimate dream factory. Tollywood is very friendly to newcomers, welcoming them with no holds barred!"
