    Varun Sandesh in AVM film

    The prestigious AVM banner completed its diamond jubilee on completion of 60 years and presented a Blockbuster like Shivaji recently. Now the banner is planning to produce the 172nd film with Varun Sandesh of Happy Days-fame as hero. Popular Malayalam and Tamil heroine Vimala Raman is making her debut in Telugu.

    Another specialty of the film is that Marthand K Shankar, son of KA Marthand and brother of Marthand K Venkatesh, is making his debut as director through the movie, while M Saravanan and MS Guhan are the producers. The shooting of the film was formally launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on May 2.

    The director says, "I am very happy for being introduced through a prestigious banner. The producer agreed to give me an opportunity after listening the story. The story of the film is basically a good family entertainer with a touch of commercial elements."

    Brahmanandam, Giribabu, Ali, Supreet, Anu Hassan, Ramaprabha and Master Venkatesh are in the cast. Dialogues are by T Rajasimha, lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla, cinematography is by Venugopalan, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, action is by Ram-Lakshman while Manisharma is scoring music.
