Ileana chucked out of Venky's film

Producers' hero Venkatesh will be launching his next film on January 25, 2009. The untitled film which is being produced by Giri, will be co-produced by D. Suresh Babu and directed by Srinu Vaitla. The word is that Ileana, one of the current reigning queens of Telugu film industry who was slated to star in this movie, is no longer in the team.

Though the reason for this change is not known, insiders say a newcomer may be Venkatesh's heroine. With this news, many of Ileana's fans, who were hoping to see her romance Venkatesh onscreen, will now be disappointed. Ileana, who went on a long sabbatical after the Pawan Kalyan starrer Jalsa's release, is on the comeback trail.

In the meanwhile, Venkatesh is said to be portraying the role of a Brahmin priest in his cameo role in Kamal Hassan's Marmayogi.
