Yugandhar to be remade again

It is well aware that Yugandhar directed by KSR Das with the late NT Rama Rao in the lead was a blockbuster during those days. The same film is to be remade again by C Kausalendra Rao and Hari Gopalakrishna Murthy under the banner of Sri Sri Raja Rajeswari Combines.

Giving details about the new project, produces said, "Let us remind you that Don with Amitabh Bachchan as hero was remade in Telugu as Yugandhar with NTR as hero. The same was remade in Tamil as Billa with Rajanikanth. All these films were proved bit hits. After a long time, the film was remade with the same name Don with Sharukh Khan as hero in Hindi, Ajith as hero in Tamil as Billa. They too were proved successful."

"Hence we are making efforts to remake the film in Telugu and bought the remake rights. We will soon announce the details of the artistes and technicians," he added.
