Srikara Prasad, son of senior director Katta Subba Rao is making his debut as director for a film to be produced by Lanka Rajasekhar and Kolanu Srinivas on the banner of Manasa Films with Aarti Agarwal as heroine. The shooting of the film was formally launched with puja activities at the production office.
Speaking on the occasion, Aarthi Agarwal says, 'After my marriage, I returned to India to start my second innings in the film industry. I am presently working for Neelavani, and another film opposite Posani Krishna Murali. After these two films, I was impressed with the subject of this movie. Really I inspired after listening to the story from Srikara Prasad, who wielding the megaphone for the first time."
Srikara Prasad says, 'I worked as an editor for several Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. I had also produced three films in Kannada. I am very happy to turn a director of a lady-oriented film with Aarthi Agarwal in the lead. I am sure that the film would be the best stepping stone as director. Aarthi is playing a different role, which she did not do in her career so far. The film will also have comedy and family elements." Producers say, 'We were impressed with the story narrated by Srikara Prasad and is producing this film. The regular shooting would begin from the fourth week of July. Several other senior and prominent artistes and comedians are in the cast."
