The last film from V Ravichandran under the banner of Oscar Films, Ananda Thandavam with Tamanna in the lead role is ready to hit the screen on April 10. Siddhartha is making his debut as hero through this movie, while Rukmini is playing another heroine. The film is being released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The Telugu version is being presented by SVR Media.
Producer Ravichandran says, “The film is based on a novel penned by Sujatha, who had earlier penned a story for our blockbuster Aparichitudu. This film would be an eye-opener for the youth who want to settle abroad. Gandhi Krishna, a protege of Shankar, is directing the movie. He has moulded the film to attract youth, families, class and mass audiences. Another speciality is that GV Prakash Kumar, the nephew of AR Rahman has scored music for this movie. We took a lot of precaution during the shooting. We shot the film in the US for about 90 days and at Kulu Manali, Kodai Kanal and Ooty."
