Kamal-Venky's EeNadu release postponed

Ee Nadu, which is the remake of the Hindi film- A Wednesday, is said to be postponed to September end due to trouble in the post-production work. A bilingual film Ee Nadu (Unnai Pol Oruvan in Tamil) was supposed to release on the 12th of August, which would actually be a double reason for Kamal Hassan to celebrate, as it would be the golden jubilee year of the superstar. He happened to start his career in the year 1959 with Kalathoor Kannamma.

All his friends, fans and well wishers wanted him to release the film on the 12th, as it would be a grand occasion and a kind of celebration for all his fans. It seems now even Kamal is upset about the fact that the film couldn"t be released on the given date.

As the film is the remake of the Hindi film- A Wednesday, Kamal Hassan plays the role of Naseeruddin Shah, while Venkatesh plays the role of Anupam Kher in the Telugu version; Mohanlal will be essaying the same role in the Tamil version.

The film is also produced in Tamil and Telugu by Kamal Hassan's production banner Raj Kamal and UTV Productions and all hopes are high as it is Kamal"s next release after Dasavathaaram.
