Meera Jasmine in a female-oriented film

Shooting of a female-oriented film was formally launched in Hyderabad recently with puja. Vasudev, a protege of K Raghavendra Rao, is making debut as a director with this film to be produced by Rambabu on the banner of Sri Jagadiswari Films with Meera Jasmine playing the lead role.

Giving details on the film, the producer said, “We have decided to produce the film with all the commercial elements and with a heavy budget. The regular shooting would begin from January 1 and we will complete the entire film in a single schedule. Meera Jasmine is playing the role of an employee of a private television channel. We will soon announce the details of other artistes and technicians."

The director said, “It is a 100-year-old story based on a set of incidents that took place in a zamindar"s house, who was an atheist. Meera Jasmine is playing his great grand daughter."
