Meera Jasmine opts for performance, not glamour

If anyone asks whether glamour or performance is the first choice, the present day heroines would definitely try to skip the answer but won't chose one between them. However, when the same question was posed to Meera Jasmine, she voted for performance.

She said, “Glamour is need not be the criteria for films. If a girl has a beautiful face, that will do for a heroine, if she has a perfect physique it would be an additional qualification. When you can prove that you can perform well on screen, it would cover all other aspects."

When pointed out that the present day heroines are showing more interest in skin show and craving for size zeroand all that, Meera said, “Of course, a heroine who wants to remain for sometime in her profession, she should definitely show some interest in her physique and should do regular exercises. Though I don"t crave for massages and all that, I too take some precautions for a glorious face and use natural species like turmeric and others."
