Mumaith's Punnami Naagu ready to sizzle

Directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, presented by G. Maheswara Reddy (Sai Reddy) and produced by G. Vijayakumar Goud under Sound and Claps banner, Punnami Nagu stars Mumaith Khan in the title role. Rajiv Kanakala is the hero.

A. Kodandarami Reddy has directed several blockbusters starring actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi. Though the title is reminiscent of an earlier Chiranjeevi blockbuster, the storyline of this film is quite different.

M.S. Narayana, Nalini, Suhasini, Vinod Kumar, Nilalgal Ravi and Adithya Om are part of the supporting star cast. The story is penned by Yendamuri Veerendranath and dialogues were written by Veligonda Srinivas while the music was composed by S.A. Rajkumar.

P.N. Babu is the cinematographer and Nandamuri Hari is the editor. Art is by Krishnamaya, stunt choreography is by Vijay and dance choreography is by Sivashankar, Pradeep, Anthony and Swarna Babu.

Punnami Naagu is currently in the re-recording stages and editing is being carried out simultaneously. The film's audio will be released soon. The makers plan to release the film in theatres in March.
