Prasthanam to venture into the second lap

The first schedule of Prasthanam directed by Deva Katta and produced by Ravi Vallabhaneni under the banner of VRC Media and Entertainments was completed recently. Giving details, producer said, “We totally trust the script and are making the film. We took up a non-stop schedule for 45 days in which we completed canning of a song and 40 per cent shooting. The second schedule is planned from August 17 at Vijayawada and its surrounding areas."

Hero of the film Sarwanand says, “This film would definitely give a good break to me and my career would take a definite twist. The fantastic script by Deva Katta, music by Mahesh Shankar, Syam Dutt"s photography would remain a highlight. I am very happy to play with Saikumar in this film."

Director Deva Katta says, “The film has different elements like action, emotion and entertainment in equal ratio and at the same time it has a strong family backdrop. Besides the story strength, the film would also be technically high in values."

Ruby, Sandeep Kishan, Vennela Kishore, Jayaprakash Reddy, Jeeva, Pavitra Lokesh, Surekhavani and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Vanamali, Deva Katta, Chaitanya Prasad, while the film is being presented by Vallabhaneni Rosaiah. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Deva Katta.
