Pugaipadam to advocate friendship

Pugaipadam is a film about friends. There are four heroes and three heroines in this film. While speaking about this film, Director Rajesh Lingam said, “The film has been completed in all aspects and is ready for release. This film is about friends with a soft backdrop. We have conveyed a strong message- friendship is sacred as love."

Adding more, the filmmaker utters, "Photos drive you into nostalgic memory lane. In the same way friendship also has no limits. Amjad, Sivam, Harish and Nandha are the heroes. Mirnalini, Yamini and Priya are the heroines. All these new faces are acting in other films even before the release of this film. Gangai Amaran who had composed the music for this film has appreciated me many times after seeing the film. Editor Lenin told me that this film should be his last film. The film has touched everyone hearts. At least if one person goes in search of his old friend after seeing the film, I would consider it as my success."
