Sivaji to both act and produce a film

Though Sivaji does not have many hits to his credit, he continues to play hero in many number of films every year. He has earned a name as a hero of low-budget films with minimum guarantee. His films like Adirindayya Chandram, Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila and Mantra have proved that his films have good market.

It has been reliably learnt that Sivaji would soon turn a producer too. He has reportedly bagged the remake rights of a successful Kannada film Taj Mahal in Telugu. Ajay and Puja Gandhi play the lead roles in this teenage love story in Kannada. The film is successfully running in Karnataka and has completed over 200 days.

Directed by Chandru, the film has music by Abhiman and it has been proved to be a musical hit there. Sivaji himself would play the hero in this romantic entertainer and he has reportedly shed six kg for the film and has turned very slim.
