Subramaniapuram to be dubbed as Ananthapuram 1980

Subramaniapuram, the much talked about successful Tamil movie is to be dubbed into Telugu as Ananthapuram 1980. Sidelining the initial plans to remake the movie in Telugu, producers have opted for a safer solution of dubbing, lest the essence of the original version may be lost.

The movie targeting the youth revolves around the theme of friendship, love and revenge. With its unusual narration and simplistic style, Subramaniapuram has endeared to many ardent movie lovers. Sasi Kumar the director plays the main hero, while Swathi is the heroine opposite him.

The Telugu version of this Tamil movie will be produced by M.Ranganath.
