Sushant to strike sparks in Current

Sushant, Akkineni Nageswara Rao's grandson, made his debut with the hit flick Kalidasu produced by Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A. Naga Susheela under Sri Nag Corporation banner. This time, Sneha Ullal will play Sushant's love interest in the film titled Current. Devi Sri Prasad is composing some superb tunes.

Surya Pratap, who worked for many films in Suresh Productions and is a protege of Sukumar and Bommarillu Bhaskar, is the debut director of Current. Touted as a movie with a different subject, Sushant has given an electrifying performance in this classic tale of opposites attract.

Charan Raj, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Thanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu, Kondavalasa, Shafi, Sudha and Jhansi are in the supporting star cast. Vijay C. Kumar is handling the camera while Marthand K. Venkatesh handles the editing department. The fights are choreographed by Kanal Kannan; story, screenplay and direction have been penned by Surya Pratap.

Annapurna Studios is presenting the movie which is to hit screens in summer 2009.
