Vamsi croons for Gopi Gopika Godavari

The Telugu audiences know well that creative director Vamsi had a non-detachable attachment with Godavari. He has a special taste in moulding the beauty of Godavari on the celluloid. Now, he is bringing out a different love story and this time, he has included his favourite river's name in the title called Gopi Gopika Godavari. River Godavari thus becomes a dais for the love between the hero Gopi and the heroine Gopika. The film is being produced by Valluripalli Ramesh under the banner of Maharshi Cinema banner. Presently the film is busy in post-production works.

The film has Venu Thottempudi as hero and Kamalini Mukherjee as heroine. Vamsi also has a special attachment with music director Chakri and there have been several musical hits in their combination including Avunu, Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru. He has scored excellent tunes for this movie too. Another speciality is that Vamsi himself has lent his voice for two of the songs in the movie. The producer is making efforts to launch the audio on the banks of River Godavari on May 8.
