Varun in Pollaadhavan Remake

Vettrimaran's Pollaadhavan starring Dhanush and Divya Spandana was a film that mixed commercial elements with realism very successfully. Based on the film, the Bicycle Thief, Pollaadhavan shows Dhanush at his very best- as an average boy with extraordinary dreams and the guts to achieve them.

Now, Varun Sandesh is all set to emulate Dhanush's act in a Telugu remake of Pollaadhavan. Neha Sharma, who had a sizzling debut opposite Ram Charan Teja in Chiruta, has signed up for her second film with this remake.

Gemini Kiran will be producing it and Sandeep Reddy is all set to wield the megaphone. According to insiders, Varun Sandesh might even develop 6 packs for this film, to convincingly present the image of a street-smart, lower-middle class unemployed youth.
