Vengamamba's 21 songs for Venkateswara

Shooting of the talkie part of Vengamamba with Meena playing the title role, Saikiran and Saratbabu in other key roles, under the direction of Udaybhaskar and produced by V Doraswamy Raju under the banner of VMC Productions, was completed recently.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer said, 'We have erected a huge set resembling the Tirumala temple and shot some important and climax scenes, besides the climax song there recently. There are a total of 21 songs in the film. We have tried our best to explain how Vengamamba paid her respects to Lord Venkateswara by rendering songs to him. Keeravani has given melodious tunes to all the songs."
