RGV’s KSD Appalaraju is a film in a film

Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming Telugu movie Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju is being shot at a specially erected set at Padmalaya Studios in Hyderabad. The scenes are shot on the lead actor Sunil.

As per the subject of the film, the hero is from Amalapuram and wants to become a director. According to him, none of the top directors were able to bring out good films. He reaches Hyderabad to change the entire shape of the Telugu film industry. He starts searching for a heroine, who would be equal or above the range of Ramya Krishna or Urmila Matondkar. At this juncture, he comes across Sakshi, a Mumbai model. Appalaraju convinces her to play heroine in his film 'Nayaki".

Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju is produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru on the banner of Sreya Productions. Koti is scoring the music, camera is by Sudhakar Yekkanti, while Vandita Koneru is the presenter of the film.
