Chiranjeevi to star in Aaptha Rakshaka remake?

Dr.Vishnuvardhan's 200th movie Aaptha Rakshaka, which is breaking all the records of Sandalwood is reportedly being remade in Tamil with Rajinikanth in the lead. It is a sequel to Chandramukhi. Now director P.Vasu is planning to do the Telugu version with Mega star Chiranjeevi. Chiru wants to make a great comeback, so this will be tailor-made script for him.

Earlier, Vasu remade Apthamitra in Tamil and Telugu as Chandramukhi. But Telugu version failed to impress the audience. So he has decided to go with Rajinikanth in Tamil and Chiranjeevi in Telugu.

Aaptha Rakshaka, which was released last month, has earned a record breaking collection in Sandalwood history. Few reports say that it has earned whooping 6 crores in just three weeks.

Aaptha Rakshaka is all about unraveling the mystery of Nagavalli. Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan's performance is the main highlight of the film. Gurukiran's music, punch dialogues, Komal's comedy, beautiful locations, cinematography, costume and art are the other highlights of the movie.
