Chiru fans donate blood to condemn false allegations

Megastar Chiranjeevi has millions of fans, who can go to any extent for the welfare of the actor. Recently, over 500 fans of the star came out to donate blood in the 'Chiranjeevi Blood Bank" only to prove the allegation made on the bank are false.

Earlier, several allegations were made on the working and management of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. Telugu film producer Allu Aravind, who is also the trustee of the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, had asked the government authorities to come forward and inspect the functioning of the blood bank.

Rubbishing all the allegations, Aravind informed that the blood bank is working smoothly due to the regular support of the fans and others. He added that these allegations were made for personal and political benefits.

Since 1998, the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank has been operating in the state. The Andhra Pradesh government awarded Best Voluntary Blood Bank in the year 2002.
