Kanchana donates 15 cr worth land to TTD

Versatile actress Kanchana a.k.a Vasundhara Devi has donated Rs. 15 crore worth land to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), an independent trust, which manages the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.

Along with her sister Girija Pandey, she visited TTD office on Monday and handed over her land documents to executive officer Mr IYR Krishna Rao. The property is located in G N Chetty Street in Chennai and she has requested the temple management to construct a marriage hall or community hall at the donated land.

It may be recalled that the actress was penury a few years ago. There were reports that her family was not taking care of her and was driven out from the house.
